Parents have asked about practice tests. In the Directions Manual, Riverside Publishing* states that each test in the ITBS and ITED batteries for Levels 9-15 begins with one or more sample questions to give students some practice with the content and the format of the test. Riverside further states that extensive experience with testing students in grades 3-9 indicates that no further practice is need for most students to understand what to do. Furthermore, the sample items represent the only kind of “practice” that students in the norm group received.

*Riverside Publishing is the publisher of the ITBS/ITED, and they are also responsible for scoring and producing the test results report that is sent to students' parents/guardians.
